Dashel helmets remind us of head-huggers from times gone by, with elegant lines, clean finishing and a sublime colour palette. Dashel means ‘thistle’ in Cornish. This doesn’t mean you’re going to have a prickly feeling when you put your helmet on - Dashel manufactures their carbon fibre helmets in Cornwall and their Cycle Helmet elsewhere in the UK.
Dashel work hard on their designs, looking at all aspects of the helmet and you can see it in their attention to detail and the way they work. Dashel worked with MAP design consultancy to develop the helmet's form. The helmet pads are machine washable. The EPS foam Cycle Helmet is entirely recyclable after its five year life span, and Dashel are taking responsibility of this task themselves. There is much more we could say here, but the list would be long enough that we're not sure if anyone would reach the bottom.
