Duer started back in 2013 with the goal of combining fashion and function. By this, Duer mean to make trousers that both look good and provide the right amount of stretch, durability, and comfort for everyday use. This goal is by no means unique in the world of clothing which is why Duer stands out here - their approach is above and beyond their competitors.
Fabric choice is crucial when it comes to creating good quality clothing and Duer have spent their time picking and choosing the best blends for the job, using high quality cotton, Coolmax®, Tencel® and Lyrca. Each of the different trousers uses a specific fabric, so Duer pick the best blend of raw materials for each piece. Duer value their commitment to their factories too. Duer purchased their factory in Pakistan in the early days of producing their jeans and the staff working there are salaried employees. Duer make their Performance Denim and No Sweat Trousers in this factory.
So where do Duer fit into cycling? All their trousers have inbuilt stretch to them and they use a double diamond gusset to stop the fabric around the thighs from rubbing through. They’re comfortable, practical and subtle enough for bouncing between work and social duties when you’re travelling by bike.
