Brooks B17 Brooks Lab Special Edition Saddle

A really special edition of the already outstanding B17. The copper plated elements set off the stamp motif.

The Brooks B17 is nothing short of iconic in cycling. The design has been around for 100 years remaining almost entirely unchanged. The leather saddles are made in the Brooks Factory in Smethwick, Birmingham in the UK. The popularity of the B17 is that it moulds to your shape as you ride it, leading to many seriously comfortable miles. This is the B17 Special Brooks Lab edition saddle and it is something special.

The vegetable tanned leather saddle top of the Brooks B17 Lab Edition saddle is stamped with various locations to express the idea of “Boundless Journeys”. The idea that a B17 will travel many miles and see many places is well known amongst owners.

There are plenty of details on the Brooks B17 Lab Edition too. The copper rivets holding the leather in place are hammered in by hand. The saddle rails are made of steel and are copper plated and the same goes for the saddle loops and backing plate.
