DESCRIPTION
Rain trenches are expected in places where you do a lot of standing around outside. This doesn’t really line up with cycling, but bear with Chrome on this - we think the Stanton Rain Trench is a winner. The well thought out design and its light-weight keep the whole package classy on and off the bike.
The Stanton Rain Trench uses a two layer polyester fabric with taped seams to keep the rain out. The hood can be zipped away inside the collar when it isn’t needed. There are plenty of pockets, with two hand pockets, an external chest and an internal chest pocket. On the front is a two-way zip that has a cover you can pop close.
There some neat bike-friendly features too. The elbows and shoulders are articulated for easy movement and at the back, the opening at the back keeps the jacket from bunching up. The Stanton also has plenty of reflective details on the cuff, the split lower back and on the back of the sleeves.
